Required alarm standard
Photoelectric smoke alarms complying with AS 3786-2014, without an ionisation sensor.
Interconnection
All required alarms in the dwelling must be interconnected so they activate together.
2027 deadline
All remaining existing Queensland homes must meet the requirements by 1 January 2027.
